Dough Pack
P2P lending made easy
Website Visual Design/ UX Design
Dough Pack is an independent P2P (Peer-to-peer) lending system, aimed at creating a fair and just platform to solve the financial difficulties for students and young adults. Through the credit scoring and risk assessment mechanism of the platform, both borrowers and lenders can freely cooperate and help each other on the Internet.

The Problem
Although there are plenty of crowdfunding platforms on the Internet, the majority of projects launched on these platforms are often proposed by young adults in design-related fields, such as a product design or illustration. However, we believe that students involved in non-design related fields also have dreams and projects that they would like to pursue. Thus, Dough Pack is created!

The Solution

Dough Pack is an independent P2P (Peer-to-peer) lending system, aimed at creating a fair and just platform to solve the financial difficulties for students and young adults. Through the credit scoring and risk assessment mechanism of the platform, both borrowers and lenders can freely cooperate and help each other on the internet.

Testing Navigation and Workflow

Issue
The Personal Dashboard is the most challenging page for us during the design process. In order to present each data clearly to the users and allow them to follow up with their personal investments, we researched multiple websites and tried to come up with the best way to present information.

Kickstarter Dashboard
Patreon Dashboard
Kickstarter
The Kickstarter Dashboard integrates Google Analytics, which consolidates all information on a single page, including pledge totals, page views, and etc. Showing information all at once is overwhelming for users.
Patreon
The Patreon Dashboard uses bar graphs to give users an overview of their earnings throughout a year. The information shown is way less, compared to those on Kickstarter, making it easier for users to examine.

The Design
The dashboards shown on Kickstarter and Patreon are rather stiff and unlikable. Even though the pie charts and bar graphs make the information easily comprehensible, we believe they are insufficient in simplifying all data. Also, in order to let our users feel more encouraged in participating in the investment activities on the platform, we wish to include more animations and a reward system on the website.

Landing Page: Call to Action Animation
From the Landing Page to Personal Dashboard, I made multiple animations GIFs to convey my design ideas to the engineers.
